The HBCU Pro Series started in 2020 and integrated into the theme of the PVAM Relays to reimagine Track and Field. As the PVAM Relays already brings together individuals and teams from across the country, the HBCU Pro Series endeavors to expand on the long history of the relays by adding professional athletes, entertainment, and a broad media perspective. The hope is to continue to shine a spotlight on both the amazing athletes who participate and on the sport as a whole outside of major events such as the Olympics and World Games.
